PLAY

Sound Nest likes to turn the foyer or multipurpose room of a cultural centre (or another location) into an artistic performance space. This can be done as part of a festival day or following a performance. Our furnishings are fully tailored to the needs of the very young and are in keeping with the free and creative movement development of 0- to 2-year-olds.

All play objects are designed and manufactured by Sound Nest, in materials that are safe for the young child to freely explore and experiment.

This play space can be activated on request by two musicians. They then engage in improvisational dialogue with the children and the event in the moment.
